| Message | My research team is monitoring SARS-CoV-2 in sewage. Since SARS-CoV-2 is excreated into the feces of infected people, the virus gene has been detected in urban sewage containing wastewater from toilet. We are going to realize the early determination of the actual scale of COVID-19 epidemics, and the precise prediction of the future epidemic scale based on the information from urban sewage. |
