| Message | The Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization stores the participant's biological samples (genome, serum samples, etc.) along with various information in anonymized condition obtained from cohort studies of the general population in Miyagi and Iwate prefectures, and forming a biobank with a scale of 150,000 people. Samples have been taken from the year 2013 primary survey, both before and after the SARS-CoV-2 domestic pandemic. By using this sample, it is possible to study epidemiological analysis such as the status of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody possession and the effect of regional characteristics on antibody prevalence.
