| Message | In the field of obstetrics and gynecology, there are important issues to be resolved, such as the risk of infection for pregnant women, gynecologic cancer patients, and the acceptance and transportation of patients with suspected infections or close contacts. On the other hand, treatment for those suffering from infertility tends to be postponed. Some health and hygiene issues can be solved mainly by scientific analysis. On the other hand, these issues need to be reviewed and addressed from the perspective of humanities and social sciences, and medical personnel. It is not easy to find a clue to the solution. Through activities of the SDGS-ID project, I would like to find hints for finding solutions to problems that might be difficult for medical personnel alone to deal with. |
