Message Viruses and bacteria which caused death were thought to be gods in premodern societies. However, they are thought to be evil in modern times. How did this crucial change happen? What sort of transformed world view caused this change? The Japanesee haves been often embraced the perspectives of animism and the idea that “animals and plants attain Buddhahood.” I believe that to see the above stated problem from this perspective can lead us to view our world in the near future in a broader way in the near future.
